
Tom Robinson

Tom Robinson is an applied conservation scientist who helps organizations plan for climate-resilient landscapes and biodiversity. As Principal of Tom Robinson Consulting, he brings more than two decades of experience in regional conservation planning, spatial analysis, and science-based strategy.
Tom previously served as Director of Conservation Strategy at TOGETHER Bay Area, where he led major regional initiatives including the Conservation Lands Network and the Bay Area Wildfire Data Working Group. Earlier in his career, he co-developed the Bay Area Greenprint, directed the Sonoma Veg Map project, and advanced land conservation and climate adaptation efforts across Northern California.
He holds degrees in Ecology and GIScience and is a Switzer Environmental Leadership Fellow.

Corbin Matley

Corbin contributed greatly to the team at Tom Robinson Consulting as GIS Analyst from Jan 2021 to Sept 2022. Corbin led multiple analysis, data management, and mapping projects for clients such as the California Native Plant Society, Wildlife Heritage Foundation, and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. He brought his sharp mind, incredible organizational skills, easy-going nature, and natural communication abilities to every project. Corbin received a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University, where he also worked for the Center for Interdisciplinary Geospatial Analysis.
