
Tom Robinson

Tom Robinson helps conservation organizations see the big picture. As Principal of Tom Robinson Consulting, he brings two decades of experience in land conservation, regional planning, and spatial analysis to projects that connect science, strategy, and storytelling. Before relaunching his consultancy, Tom was Director of Conservation Strategy at TOGETHER Bay Area, leading regional efforts like the Conservation Lands Network and Bay Area Wildfire Data Working Group. His earlier work includes co-developing the Bay Area Greenprint, leading Sonoma Veg Map, and advancing open space protection and climate change resilience throughout Northern California. He holds degrees in Ecology and GISci and is a Switzer Fellow.

Corbin Matley

Corbin contributed greatly to the team at Tom Robinson Consulting as GIS Analyst from Jan 2021 to Sept 2022. Corbin led multiple analysis, data management, and mapping projects for clients such as the California Native Plant Society, Wildlife Heritage Foundation, and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. He brought his sharp mind, incredible organizational skills, easy-going nature, and natural communication abilities to every project. Corbin received a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University, where he also worked for the Center for Interdisciplinary Geospatial Analysis.
